Delivery Policy
How we deliver your products across Bangladesh
Currently, Yasma Tech delivers products only within Bangladesh. During the checkout process, you will enter your shipping address and our system will show you the available delivery options for your area. We strive to cover as wide a delivery network as possible through reliable courier partners. (We do not ship internationally at this time.)
We work hard to ensure you get your orders quickly. In compliance with Bangladesh’s Digital Commerce Operational Guidelines, we aim to dispatch (hand over to the courier) all ready-to-ship products within 48 hours of confirming your full payment. Once shipped, if the delivery address is within the same city or metropolitan area, delivery is usually completed within 5 days, and if the address is in a different city or a rural area, it can take up to 10 days. These are standard maximum timeframes recommended by regulations, and we often deliver faster. The specific estimated delivery date for your order will be shown at checkout based on your location and the shipping option. Please note that pre-order or backorder items (which are not immediately in stock) might have longer delivery timelines, which will be indicated on the product page or communicated to you.
Any applicable delivery fee will be clearly displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. We keep our delivery charges reasonable and sometimes offer free delivery promotions for certain products or order amounts. There are no hidden shipping costs – you pay only what is agreed at checkout. All delivery fees are in BDT and include any taxes applicable.
After your order is dispatched, we will provide you with a tracking number or update (via SMS, email, or our website account portal) whenever available. You can use this tracking information to monitor the status of your delivery through the courier service’s website or our order status page. Our customer support is also happy to inform you of your shipment status if you have any questions.
Deliveries are made during normal business hours (generally 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, excluding public holidays). Please ensure that someone is present at the shipping address to receive the package during the expected delivery window. Our delivery personnel or the courier might contact you at the phone number provided to confirm timing or get directions if needed. For Cash on Delivery orders, we kindly request having the payment ready (preferably the exact amount, if possible) to facilitate a quick and easy handover.
At the time of delivery, the courier may ask for a signature or OTP (one-time password) as proof of receipt. We recommend that you inspect the package upon delivery. If you notice any significant damage to the outer box or have reason to believe the item might be damaged, you have the right to refuse the delivery or at least make a note of it with the delivery person. Please inform us immediately if you encounter a seriously damaged or tampered package so we can assist you promptly. Minor dents or wear on the outer packaging usually do not affect the product, but if you have any concerns, let us know.
While we aim for timely deliveries, occasionally there can be delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, transportation issues, weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain or flooding), or other logistical challenges. If there is any unexpected delay beyond the promised delivery time, we will notify you via phone or email as soon as we become aware. We will also work to resolve the issue—for instance, by expediting the shipment or finding alternate courier options. According to the guidelines, if a delay occurs due to an unavoidable situation, we will inform you within 48 hours and attempt to complete the delivery in the next 72 hours. Please understand that such delays are rare and often out of our control, and we are not liable for direct losses caused by courier delays. However, your satisfaction is important to us, so we will do our best to keep you informed and make sure you receive your order as soon as possible.
Once a product is delivered to you (or your designated recipient) and payment is completed, the ownership of that product transfers to you. This means the risk and responsibility for the item are now yours. We urge you to double-check that you’ve received the correct items in the right quantity. If anything is missing or incorrect, please contact us right away so we can correct it. In the case of a defective or damaged product, you may be eligible for a return or replacement under our Refund and Return Policy (see below). We stand by our customers in such events.
